Huge Calla Lily Sculpture On The Fairy House
The Calla Lily sculpture looks small here in the pic but it is quite large in reality. A mix of different techniques was used to create this beautiful flower. Chainsaw, power carving along with using sculpting epoxy and then doing some airbrushing to finish up the flower.
Fairy House Structure Ready For Faux Pine Cone Pedals
Fairy House is ready for the custom wooden cedar shingles that will be power carved using the King Arthur Lancelot disc on a grinder to do most of the carving. The shingles are to look like pine cone pedals.

Large Flower Sculpture Adds Color To The Fairy House
This large flower sculpture is the beginning of flowers and leaves Billy is sculpting and carving to tie the fairy house in with nature. The faux flowers will add a lot of color to the themed environment.
Start of Window Frame
Here I used a King Arthur Lancelot disc on my angle grinder to set in the initial texture around the window, before the fancy finishings were installed.
Handcrafted Cedar Shingles
Each cedar shingle was custom cut, power carved, and fitted to give each individual shingle texture and life. The idea was to imitate the look of pinecone “petals”.
Start of Roof
Tar paper is applied to the plywood decking of the House’s roof before hand-cut custom shingles are attached.
